The Castle at Rhuddlan is now in a pretty ruined state, facing stone has been removed en-mass from the lower parts of nearly all the walls and most of the quoins have also been removed from all the arches, windows and doorways throughout the entire castle - if you look at some of the houses nearby, you'll get an idea of where all that stone went. That said Rhuddlan Castle is still a very impressive structure and worthy of a visit if you are a castle fan.
On-site (run by Cadw) is a car park, a toilet is available for users with a disability and limited mobility, refreshments and baby changing facilities. Dogs are welcome if on a lead.
