This very comfortable pink washed holiday cottage dates from before 1850 and is situated in the lovely coastal market town of Newport.

Within a few minutes' walk of the cottage are the estuary, beaches and mountain.

In the town there are eateries to suit every taste and pocket, individual shops, galleries and pubs. There is also a weekly (Monday) local producer's market.

The Pembrokeshire coastal path is just a couple of minutes' walk away and offers 186 miles of spectacular walking and scenery.

This traditional cottage offers period charm and features with contemporary style and the modern comfort and conveniences we all enjoy; it really is a lovely place from which to explore Newport, the National Park, Pembrokeshire coast and Preseli mountains.

You can park your car and not use it again all week while you enjoy a relaxing break.

Holiday Accommodation

Entrance is into the hallways and through to the spacious KITCHEN/DINING ROOM with traditional tiled floor and exposed timber ceiling.

The kitchen has a range of fitted cupboards with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and toaster.

The dining area has a dining table and 4 chairs.

The UTILITY ROOM has a washer/dryer and plenty of space for coats, walking boots, wet suits and wet dogs.

The SITTING ROOM has an exposed timber ceiling, woodburning stove and is furnished with comfortable sofa and armchairs, corner cupboard, TV, DVD player and coffee table.

The FAMILY BATHROOM is downstairs and has a suite of modern shower bath, WC and hand basin.

Carpeted stairs lead to the two cottage bedrooms, both of which have sloping ceilings and dormer windows.

BEDROOM 1 has a king size bed, bedside tables, dressing table and wardrobe.

BEDROOM 2 has 2 single beds, bedside tables, dressing table and built in wardrobes.

There is another small room perfect for the cot or for storing cases out of the way.

All the beds will be made up with fresh bed linen for your arrival.

Garden and Parking

There is a delightful enclosed and sunny garden to the rear.

The back door leads onto the patio area and steps lead up to the raised lawn with borders and railings.

Garden furniture is provided.

There are two tandem style private parking spaces beside the cottage.

Other Information

There is gas central heating throughout the cottage. This is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £25 from October to April (payable when booking).

One basket of logs will be provided for the start of your holiday and more can be purchased locally.

A standard cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.

Beds are all made up with fresh linen.

Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest, not for beach use.

The cottage is WIFi enabled.

Up to 2 very well behaved dogs are welcome but must sleep in the hard floor areas or utility room.

No smoking.

This property does not accept short breaks.
